MOST ORDERS FOR 7/16IN PUSHRODS ARE CUSTOM ORDERS—BUT THEY NEED NOT BE THAT WAY

Written by Moore Good Ink
The first of their kind, Trend’s 7/16in double-taper pushrods are now shelf-stock items

Because they are produced in large volumes they are significantly less expensive than custom pushrods

Because they are produced in large volumes they are shelf-stock items and available for immediate shipment

Because they are big and brawny they feature a double-taper, providing extra clearance in the cylinder heads, lifters, and lifter bores

Because engine builders are concerned about adequate clearances, the 5/16in ball ends are semi-spherical-machined to 210 degrees

Because of Trend’s reputation for high quality, the ball ends are held to a tolerance of plus-or-minus .001in

Because of Trend’s volumes of scale, these shelf-stock pushrods are available in lengths of 6.000in to 13.000in, and in increments of .025in

After being centerless ground these shelf-stock pushrods are stacked vertically in baskets and made ready for heat treating

Trend 7/16in one-piece centerless-ground pushrods are made from the best chrome molybdenum thick-wall tubes.
Spintron-tested and with a wall thickness of .165in they are case-hardened to Rockwell Rc60.

Ordered incorrectly? To exchange Trend shelf-stock pushrods of incorrect length, no re-stocking charges apply, providing pushrods are unused and in a resalable condition.
7/16in x .165in double taper pushrods are particularly popular with drag racers and Late Model Dirt racers using roller lifters.
